What sort of school has classes for 80 minutes two days a week, and schedules them starting every hour? Seriously, I've got 40 minute breaks between each of my classes, a complete waste. Round trip walk to my room is 30 to 35 minutes, and it's not like sitting on the quad is going to be a good option come winter. There's also a severe lack of benches inside the buildings.

One of the professors I already know I don't like, the short round guy that loves to talk about his accomplishments, and he's lecturing by showing PDF slides of handwritten notes he made a few years ago. Doesn't help that the first day was all stuff that I'd learned in a 200-level physics class back at Bucknell (this is a senior+grad mechanical engineering class).
Other than that, it's all going well enough. The other two profs I've had were good, and I've got the 4th one tomorrow. I also don't have any classes before 11am, so I'll be able to get research done in the mornings once I find an adviser and project.
